Management

Putting My Experience
to Work
I earned my BFA in stage/production management with a minor in arts and cultural management from Michigan State University (MSU), where I developed a blend of technical expertise and management skills. My experience included design, carpentry, lighting, audio, and overseeing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. As a member of the IATSE 274 union, I worked on Broadway tours such as Frozen, Beetlejuice, and Dear Evan Hansen, gaining invaluable insights into large-scale production management.
My journey with Living Arts Detroit began as an executive assistant, where I managed production logistics, contracts, and produced events. This role quickly evolved, allowing me to take on responsibilities in graphic design, marketing, social media management, development & more. Over time, I grew into a leadership role, where I assisted in spearheading communication strategies, fostered community engagement, and streamlined operations to support the organization’s mission.
In addition to my work at Living Arts, I serve as Marketing Manager for "Catfight for the Crown," a drag queen beauty pageant supporting the Ruth Ellis Center. Here, I’ve led social media campaigns, brand design & execution, and marketing campaigns.
My passion for learning and growth continues to drive me forward. Whether managing creative projects, coordinating events, or crafting communication plans, I am dedicated to fostering collaboration, uplifting teams, and achieving impactful results. I’m excited to see what challenges and opportunities lie ahead, knowing I’ll approach them with enthusiasm and determination.
