WHERE I COME FROM

I was born in Sterling Heights Michigan just 30 minutes north of Detroit. I was foruntate enough to attend the Warren Consolidated School of the Performing Arts (WCSPA) where I've to learned my love for theatre management and technical theatre. Right after highschool I became Michigan State University (MSU) bound to further my theatre education.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I earned my BFA in stage/production management with a minor in arts and cultural management from Michigan State University (MSU), where I developed a blend of technical expertise and management skills. My experience included design, carpentry, lighting, audio, and overseeing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. As a member of the IATSE 274 union, I worked on Broadway tours such as Frozen, Beetlejuice, and Dear Evan Hansen, gaining invaluable insights into large-scale production management.

My journey with Living Arts Detroit began as an executive assistant, where I managed production logistics, contracts, and produced events. This role quickly evolved, allowing me to take on responsibilities in graphic design, marketing, social media management, development & more. Over time, I grew into a leadership role, where I assisted in spearheading communication strategies, fostered community engagement, and streamlined operations to support the organization’s mission.

In addition to my work at Living Arts, I serve as Marketing Manager for "Catfight for the Crown," a drag queen beauty pageant supporting the Ruth Ellis Center. Here, I’ve led social media campaigns, brand design & execution, and marketing campaigns.

THERE'S MORE TO
ME THAN MANAGEMENT

Although management is my passion, I enjoy many activities in my free time. Outside of work, you can often find me hiking and exploring nature with my dog Indigo. I also love playing pickleball and practicing morning yoga. Feel free to ask me about the latest hobby I've taken up, though I might forget about it in a month!

MISSION STATEMENT

Championing Collaboration and
Uplifting Teams for Success

It's easy to get lost in the chaos that live entertainment comes with. From all the planning and people navigating it can be easy to loose the joy in what you're doing.

As a manager I'm a firm believer in collaboration. As we are making art we need everyone working together, and on the same page, in order to put forth everyone's best.

My leadership style is to make sure everyone's voice his heard and give them the tools they need to be succesful. As a manager I am the glue to a production and I wanna make sure that people can do what they have to do but also be able to find the joy in what they are doing.

My favorite quote is from an old mentor of mine "Have your found your Joy today?" (Jonathan Gillespie).

When I work on a production I want everyone to be able to look back on their day and say they found that joy and be able to tell their own story.
