Contracts Sent What Now?

First time ever sending contracts but there is still more to do.

Contracts for What?

I've been working on contracts to send to choreographers, dancers, and even minors for months now. After lots of back and forth, and many edits, the contracts for the my dance concert Rhythm of the Feet have been sent. What is Rhythm of the Feet? Rhythm of the Feet is the show I'm Producing/Production Managing with Living Arts Detroit and Mike Manson!

What Now?

With our timeline everyone has about 2 weeks to get back to my with their signed agreements and after that it's back to the budget to reassess everything. On top of that the choreographers will be hard at work starting January 1st to prepare for our rehearsals starting on February 16th. While our dancers and choreographers are working tirelessly I'll be working with the production company Focus 16 and the Technical Director of Marygrove Conservatory to make sure everything is set in place for a smooth load in this coming April.

Did Somebody Say Gala!?

In fact there is way more going on than just this dance concert for Rhythm of the Feet. Every year Living Arts Detroit host a few large scale events for the community. This year we decided to host a gala between the Living Arts community and the Rhythm of the Feet community. This Gala will be happening the day before the dance concert and will be a celebration of the big show. Thankfully I already booked the venue but now I need to organize the DJ, the caters, come up with a theme and design the decorations, and work with the executive director on the budget for this by also getting corporate sponsors. There is a lot to do but there is so much more excitement to come.
